THE HISTORY OF THE SHOW

The Denia Boat Show originated in 2008 from the project named “Jornadas Náuticas” (“Nautical Days”), in order to give support to the powerful sector of the purchase and sale of boats, and as a commitment to Denia Marina at the beginning of one of the strongest recessions that the history of the sector has suffered. At the same time, the “Salón del Chárter” (Charter Room) was born. This room is designed for nautical tourism and it’s focused on the rent of sailboats and yachts that made this port so famous in the entire Mediterranean.

Year after year, this initiative by Denia Marina and all business people established in this port grew and its participants demanded constant evolution. If the “Jornadas Náuticas” (“Nautical Days”) and the “Salón del Chárter” (Charter Room) were pioneers and unique with regard to their proposal, the present Denia Boat Show has continued to be a transgressive benchmark in the world of exhibitions and nautical fairs.

In this eighth edition, the organizers of the show have listened again to business and sports people, fans and visitors, in order to provide the show with new energy that will turn Denia Boat Show into the link for nautical tourism and the naval industry. Day by day, we write our history in pencil like navigation charts, so that we can sail in all kinds of waters.
